Today's parable was the wedding and the wine,
and the laughing, oblivious groomsman.
And how we look to some people for some things and certain people for others,
like God-given talent put to good use.
And all very well the first love of passion and strident bodily joys,
but come what the love of the soul, which must be grown into and suffered for?
Provoking how the fallen and the lost and the wronged are seen as the ones
given the chance to rise above what they were before.
And funny how first love can be something so much more.
So we will be the intersecting paths to rock a people of unbelievers,
we will be the halves of the undivided whole and the movers and shakers of dreams.
